Chief Cornplanter

Curious about Chief Cornplanter now that my good friend, Pat Steele has enlightened me about him. I found his headstone online as it was BEFORE they built the Kinzua Dam in 1965. Chief Cornplanter was the son of a Seneca women and a dutchman. His father left him and his mom at an early age. George Washington gave Chief Cornplanter a land grant for his efforts with him during the Revolutionary war. He gave him about 10,000 acres of land, known as the Cornplanter Grant. Where the Seneca nation was to have the land as long as the sun and moon shined and the waters flowed. The Army Corps. of Engineers relocated all the graves in the Kinzua valley, including chief Cornplanter. This picture was taken before his grave was moved across the Pennsylvania border into New York. Now I just have to find where his grave is today, go there and get a picture of it! Anyone have any ideas?? I think he may be on the Allegany Indian Reservation in New York. Will keep you posted.
