We met up with Greg at the Sheetz station in Uniontown, just in time for break. This is the first chance I had to get my camera out, as we left King's in Cranberry and it was a light rain.. just enough to make the beginning of the trip a tad wet.
The National Road
From Uniontown headed east..what a view those conestoga wagons must of had!
The old Stone house below is on the left. Lunch there might be in my future...
And last, but not least, the NEW Great Crossing's Bridge in Somerfield. The first one is 50 feet under water on the far left. It hasn't been since since 1999 I think. Would love to see it some day!
Rt 219 South - in Maryland
I think I forgot to add Maryland to the post after this one....sorry...
the last pic is of Deep Creek, MD
Make a wish...
I'd be safe to say, we all wish for cobalt blue skies and 75 degrees

Here's the gang headed into the park area.
Just before we headed to the park, we stopped for a hearty, reasonably priced lunch at Big John's Family Fixins.

Ran into Warren and his wife on thier wedding anniversary. How cute! We actually passed him on 79 South in his car. He waved us on!
Warren has his back to me in the bottom group picture, and his wife has a pink top on. Happy couple!
That's a long way down!
That was a long way down!!!
But the falls were so pretty, alot less water falling over those rocks than we seen 2 years ago here!!!
I'd hate to say we need rain...........
