Great Crossing Bridge and the Yough Dam Lake

Today was a chilly 43 degrees and we left Monroeville for a 2 hour drive to Somerfield, PA to see if the Great Crossing Bridge was peeking thru the dark waters of the Yough Dam Lake. NOPE! In fact, the water was higher than our last visit there in November of 2005!!

Tallest Bridge in the world.......

Another kool view of this bridge......

Isn't this Kool???

Another view of the bridge....awesome span...

The world's tallest bridge - Millau Bridge over the River Tarn in the Massif Central Mountains in Southern France. And the red pillars were removed when construction was done. This bridge was built so that heavy tourist traffic would bypass the town below. The bridge is +984 feet tall, taller then the Eiffel Tower. And it's a toll bridge costing $5.60 in US funds to cross!!
